Did not make this for some time. Really one of my favorite snacks… Cinnamon rolls with an icing of (pili)nuts and orange zest/juice! It brings back childhood memories of my mum’s apple pie with raisins and cinnamon. This version is all raw and low glycemic and based on nut flour (left over of making nut milk), flax seeds, dates, raisins, walnuts, apple and yes….lots of cinnamon! I really love cinnamon! Did you know that it has a many health benefits as well? Anti-inflammatory, boost your brain function, can lower your sugar level (and weight loss) and reduce risks for heart disease.
This snack is a perfect replacement of the much sweeter flour based cinnamon rolls or cookies you find in the market. Will be selling them per piece soon?
